Ductile iron push on pipe, also known as push pipe, (ductile iron jacking pipe) has the following characteristics:
Ductile iron jacking pipe is a type of ductile iron pipe that can be laid without digging trenches and can be pushed in by overcoming the friction of the soil through pushing force. When in use, a pipe body is often pushed into the soil and then pushed in again. The second pipe body is connected to the first pipe body, and multiple pipe bodies are pushed in sequentially to complete the ejection operation. The multiple pipe bodies are butted end to end to form a pipe jacking operation

Ductile iron jacking pipe has gradually become the mainstream pipe material in the construction process of ductile iron jacking pipe, mainly because it has the following significant advantages:
1. Excellent anti-corrosion performance: The ductile iron material itself has good corrosion resistance. Its outer wall is sprayed with a zinc layer (130g/m2) and is wrapped by 6\~10 cm thick reinforced concrete. An epoxy resin coating is also applied to the outer wall of the concrete jacket, which not only further enhances corrosion resistance, but also reduces the friction between the pipe and the soil. This super anti-corrosion ability ensures that the service life of ductile iron push on pipe can be as long as 70-100 years.
2. Withstand large thrust force: By setting up thrust flanges, reinforcing ribs and encapsulating reinforced concrete, the allowable thrust force of the pipeline is increased. For example, the allowable pushing force of a K9 grade DN1200 ductile iron push on pipe can reach 739 tons. Moreover, products with higher allowable thrust force can be manufactured by increasing the wall thickness of the tube without a large increase in cost.
3. Adapt to curved pipe jacking construction: The interface of ductile iron push on pipe allows a deflection angle of ≥1.5°, which makes it widely used in curved pipe jacking construction.
4. Provide pipes with grouting holes and corresponding grouting hole sealing measures to meet specific needs during construction.
5. Lower frictional resistance: The frictional force with the soil is smaller, which is conducive to jacking the pipe underground section by section.
